The Reina Filipina North America pre-pageant Fashion Show dazzled the Manhattan skyline on January 17, 2025, at the prestigious Bryant Park Loft. Eight pageant candidates showcased the artistry of renowned Filipino designer Bessie Besana in a glamorous evening celebrating Filipino talent and culture.
The event highlighted Besana’s exquisite collection, featuring modern interpretations of traditional Filipiniana garments adorned with intricate embroidery and bold silhouettes. Each candidate radiated confidence and elegance, embodying the spirit of empowerment and heritage that Reina Filipina North America champions.
Gracing the evening was Dr. Alicia Almendral, CEO of Reina Filipina North America, whose vision has positioned the pageant as a beacon of Filipino pride on the global stage. Joining her were distinguished guests, including Senior Vice President of PNB New York Eric Bustamante, hotelier Fateena Qassem, Barbizon Modeling School instructor Rebecca Barber, and Reina Filipina North America board member Atty. Edward Carrasco. The event also drew numerous VIPs from the fashion and entertainment industries.
